Dean E. Smith Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner

The Dean E. Smith Distinguished Citizen Award will be presented to Paul Fulton and Howard N. Lee at the dinner in honor of their outstanding contributions to North Carolina while exemplifying the values found in the Scout Oath and Law.

THE GOAL OF THIS EVENT is to bring our extended Chapel Hill community’s top leaders together to honor an extraordinary leader in Chapel Hill and raise funds to support Scouting programs that develop character, citizenship, leadership, patriotism, self-reliance and personal fitness in both the Chapel Hill community and in Orange County.

Proceeds from this event will be used to break down barriers such as transportation, consistent leadership, safe meeting places and financial resources to instill the values of the Scout Oath and Law in Orange County’s hardest to serve communities.
