A special election is underway for a seat on Carrboro Town Council vacated when Damon Seils was voted Mayor. There are two candidates who filed to run for the seat and serve the Carrboro community: Aja Kelleher and Eliazar Posada

Both candidates participated in The Candidates and Elected Officials Forum that the CBA hosted in collaboration with The Chamber last week and both delivered a one-minute introduction.

This special election is taking place in conjunction with the statewide primary election. You can learn more about the spring primary, including who is on your ballot and where and when to vote by visiting The Chamber's Election Hub

This update is brought to you by the CBA Policy Committee, which is chaired by CBA immediate past chair and owner of commercial property in downtown Carrboro, David Jessee.  Learn more about the CBA Policy Committee and the CBA policy priorities, values, and platform
