Leadership Chapel Hill-Carrboro is an annual cohort-based program where participants build their personal and professional networks as they turn knowledge into action Registration for the 2027 cohort opens in February 2027, with programming kicking off in May 2027. Session 9: Public Safety and Community Resiliency – November 12th This session provides an inside look at the people, systems, and partnerships responsible for keeping our communities safe and prepared. Participants will engage with public safety leaders and explore how agencies respond to emergencies, build community trust, and prepare for unexpected challenges. The session will broaden participants’ understanding of what it takes to create a safe, connected, and resilient community.
